You will first need to choose a writing platform, such as one of the word processing programs below:

  • Use your outline.
  • Tile your screen.
  • Use integrated word processing tools, such as:
    • Speech-to-text:
    • Formatting toolbar
    • Cut, copy, and paste
    • Word prediction
    • Thesaurus and dictionary
    • Spelling and grammar checkers
    • Word count
    • Citation generators
  • Explore add-ons and extensions made available through marketplaces or apps.
  • Leverage AI tools.
    • Paste text and ask questions:
      • What am I missing in my development of this idea?
      • Does my main idea make sense?
      • What questions might a reader have after reading this paragraph?
      • Is there anything confusing or unclear in this section?
    • Create custom chatbots:
      • Customizing student feedback
