Design for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Learning

Every student matters, and every student brings something unique and valuable to our classrooms. One of our great challenges as teachers is to make sure that every student feels valued, accepted, and successful. This includes honoring diversity and finding ways to recognize and celebrate what makes each student unique and special. It also means recognizing and addressing the academic, social, and emotional challenges that some of our students face due to situations in their personal lives. These challenges may lead to academic gaps in opportunity and achievement that we must address.

As teachers, we play an important role in the lives of our students, and we must continue to find ways to give all of our students an equitable opportunity to learn and succeed. This collection will explore concepts, strategies, and digital tools that you can use to meet the equity needs of your diverse learners in a remote classroom.
