In today’s episode, we’ll explore an interactive graphic organizer tool, Corgi, which CAST has made freely available for teachers and students.

There are four available templates to choose from:

• Claim, Evidence, Reasoning Guide

Using Templates

• Set up a free account.
• Choose a template or a lesson to use.
• Pre-fill parts of the template as desired.
• Add directions and resources as scaffolds.
• Share with students:

  • PDF
  • Google Link
  • Google Slides Presentation

Integration Ideas

Guides can be completed:

• As an entire class
• As an independent assignment
• In groups
• Before being converted into slideshow presentations
• As assessments
