Every year, All4Ed hosts Digital Learning Day (DLDay). This year, it takes place on Thursday, February 13, with the theme: “Sharing the Love of Learning, Teaching, and Innovation.”

DLDay is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the incredible digital learning practices that are happening across the nation. All4Ed established this day as a way to celebrate educators who use technology to empower and inspire students, to honor students for their creativity and adaptability in a digital world, and to showcase schools that foster connection, engagement, and innovation through digital tools. Essentially, it’s a celebration of digital learning.

This year, All4Ed is using DLDay to focus on “how technology connects us, transforms education, and brings ‘heart’ into learning.” Included below are four ways that you can get involved.

“Spread the love” for DLDay 2025.

On social media, share stories, photos, and videos that highlight creative projects, collaborative tools, and innovative strategies that you are using with your students. Use the hashtag #DLDay and also search for it to see what others are doing.

Create a digital connection card.

Directions and links for how to do this are available on the All4Ed website. You’ll find three “Love of Learning” templates and can select the one that’s most applicable: Educator, District, and Organization.

The templates are all made with Canva, and you can click the “Use template for new design” button to access the editable version before personalizing it with details of how you are innovating or connecting through digital learning.

When you are finished creating, share your card on social media using #DLDay and tag @OfficialDLDay. All4Ed will reshare your posts to spread the message and, as they say, “spread the love.”

Plan a DLDay event or activity.

To call even more attention to DLDay, consider hosting some sort of event in your classroom, school, or district. It can be big or small depending on your capacity and available resources.

All4Ed offers a few ideas to get you thinking, some of which include:

  • Host a lesson that demonstrates how technology and innovation personalize learning and engage students.
  • Invite parents to take part in digital learning activities to build connections and understanding.
  • Partner with colleagues to deliver a collaborative co-teaching tech session.
  • Launch a student video contest to showcase their digital learning stories and creativity.
  • Organize a tech night or community-based project to highlight future-ready skills and workforce success.

Register for the DLDay live broadcast.

On February 13, All4Ed will be broadcasting live, spotlighting districts and sharing stories about how technology is making a real difference. Tune in to hear special segments, guest hosts, and live insights from top educators and organizations and get ideas that you can use in your classroom or school. Topics will include innovative career pathways, the transformative potential of AI, the critical role of digital literacy, and more.

You can register for the event on the All4Ed website. The broadcast will begin at 12:00 pm ET on February 13.
