PhET is a free website packed with over 150 online math and science simulations. Simulations are available in the areas of physics, chemistry, math, earth science, and biology. This project from the University of Colorado Boulder was founded in 2002 by Nobel Laureate Carl Wieman. According to the PhET website, the research-based simulations provide an “intuitive, game-like environment where students learn through exploration and discovery.” You can browse, filter, and search for simulations to match your lesson objectives.

- Compatibility with devices may vary.
- Simulations vary and run in Java, HTML5, Flash, and/or Java via CheerpJ.
- Accessibility tools are available in some, but not all, simulations.

- Some simulations include an embed code.
