  • Create visual cues, like a stoplight sign or colored plastic cups.
  • Paste expectations in assignment directions.
  • Use an app like AI Trust You to manage AI use.
  • Engage in call-and-response signals.

How will students access and submit digital assignments?

  • Create a consistent process for locating and submitting work.
  • Post clear due dates.
  • Consider offering multiple pathways to required materials and links.

What if something goes wrong or doesn’t work?

  • Teach all students basic fixes and troubleshooting.
  • Use the “Ask Three Before Me” approach.
  • Assign students to be classroom tech experts.

How can I set my students up for success?

  • Clearly explain tech routines to students.
  • Practice routines repeatedly.
  • Mix practice with fun community-building activities.
  • Let students know that tech issues are common.
